I got drawn into stereo photography in 2018 while I was working on a film set. The camera operator would frequently pull out a robust stills camera with two lenses. Curious, I asked him about it and he told me he was taking 3D photographs. I did not make the connection until he handed me a small plastic viewer. I put my eyes up to the viewer and that was it! I wanted to know everything he knew.  After about two months of research, I had my first stereo camera and successfully cut and mounted my first viewable 3D photo on 35mm slide film.

Since then, I’ve continued exploring stereo photography and how depth can effectively  be used to experience a photographic moment. I am personally drawn to street photography and enjoy making images of people, chance encounters, and curious situations. All of the photos with the exception of the Lockdown 2020 series were shot on 35mm and 120mm slide film. Although I'd love to show you the original slides in person, I’ve scanned my favorite photos and have made them available to view digitally.

If you’re new to this format, head on over to the "How to View" page for more info on ways to view a stereo image. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions, comments or feedback you may have. Enjoy!

I'm a filmmaker and photographer based in New York City. Stereo photography has taken up most of my free time and that's ok. I can talk your ear off about it but what excites me most is showing you. So let's hang out!
